Following a career in aerospace, Ken has spent 20 years in the control system industry and is a Director of Silvertech International plc, a leading designer of safety and control systems. Great overview on a complex topic

Anyone who references IEC61508 will know that this is a complex and detailed standard. This book offers is a great overview of the process required to applying this standard and offers insight into calculating probability of failure and ultimately, SIL requirements. Recommended for anyone needing to integrate this standard.
