About the Author
Ph.D., Dr. Ebbe is an Associate Professor at SUNY Brockport. He is a recognized expert in the field of criminology, quantitative methods, and international criminal justice. The author earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1981. Dr. Ebbe is also a member of the American Society of Criminology, Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, and International Police Executive Symposium.

Dr. Obi Ebbe's text, Comparative & International Criminal Justice Systems, is EXCELLENT! I developed and got approved an International Comparative Legal Systems course at my former university in 2002, and was most fortunate to 'happen upon' Dr. Ebbe's text! I used this textbook in the study abroad program (in South Africa) which I also developed and got approved. It proved perfect for the course: The research, depth and coverage of each featured country is brilliant, and the layout and accessibility for students is awesome. The students enjoyed working with this textbook as much as I did! Imagine my disappointment upon learning that it is out of print! Please update this text and republish.
